Chef Mullen writes: It was great meeting with the mayor of Ripatransone last evening. He was kind enough to provide little terra-cotta whistles crafted in town for each of our travelers. We had a meeting in the 800 year-old office across from the town's opera house. Below is a picture of the town's flag and the mayor with the TeamItalia shirt we brought along for him.
